When I am Weak...

Most cultures value success, education, wealth, beauty, and fame. This is especially true of our celebrity-crazed culture here in America. And if we’re honest, it’s just as prevalent in our own hearts and churches.

But God values humility, weakness, and sacrificial service, all of which were shown clearly by the birth, life, suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus. As Jesus-followers we’re called to reject the world’s value system and let the Holy Spirit shape our lives to look like Him.

The Apostle Paul realized and captured this truth in his letter to the Corinthians. He says, “I delight in my weaknesses…For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:10). If we want to experience the power of the gospel, it begins by embracing the way of the cross…

the way of Jesus!

Pre-K Theme

"Live It Out"

Live It Out is not JUST a theme, but a call to action. It encourages kids to actively live out their faith through their words and interactions with others. And the more we become like Jesus, the more we can make a true difference in this world and in the lives of those around us.

Pre-K students will join the elementary students in their classroom for the summer!

Elementary Theme

"Live It Out"

Each week will break down a “one another” statement from the Bible. God designed us to be in community with one another even when it’s challenging, and we’ll need God’s Spirit to help guide us as we do. This summer, LWK will learn about difficult concepts such as living in peace with one another or forgiving one another.

Tithe and Offerings

Here at The Living Well Church, the Living Well Kids have their own Joy-Box. The box is where they put their tithes and offerings as a tool to practice financial stewardship. The money is given to a variety of beneficiaries throughout the year.

Next Beneficiary

Belonging Bags

We will purchase backpacks or duffle bags to donate to a local foster care agency to give to children entering the foster care system. This will give the children a new bag to keep for bringing their belongings along with them. We will pray over these bags during our backpack blessing in the fall prior to donating them.

Prayer at The Living Well

PRAYER MATTERS! We meet every Sunday at 9am to pray for the Holy Spirit’s work in our gathering and for our community’s needs. If you have a prayer request, please fill out the virtual Connection Card below today!
We are suspending Friday morning prayer gatherings for a time, but we invite you to pray for our community during the week.

We don’t pass offering plates at The Living Well Church, but we do invite you to support God’s work here. Consider your blessings & offer those blessings back to God.
