It's Our Birthday, & You're Invited!
TLW is turning 7! Join us on Sunday, October 5th, for our next sermon series, “We Believe?” where we deep-dive into why we believe what we do, and how we can address our doubts and differences as followers of Jesus. Then we’ll celebrate going into our 8th year with the sacrament of communion, followed by cake and fellowship after the service!

We Believe?

Have you ever wondered why we believe what we do, or even doubted that the things we believe, as followers of Christ, are true? So have we. But we have assurance through the Word of God that we can believe what He says. Mark 9:24 says: "Help our unbelief." We will explore what it means to believe, and how we can ask God to help us with our doubts and differences.

Pre-K Theme

Super Kids

Deep down, everybody wants to be a super kid, and nothing defines super kid better than the word ‘brave.’ Being brave is a lot easier to say than do—for preschoolers and grownups. What we do to be brave—and Who can help us be brave—is what this month is all about. We can pray, like Esther, and be brave. We can remember that God is with us, like David, and be brave. We can trust what God says, like Gideon, and be brave. And when we pray, remember, and trust, God can help us be brave so we can help others, like Abigail. We want our preschoolers to grow up knowing that when they are afraid, God can help them be brave, and that is what makes them a super kid.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid...for the Lord your God goes with you."

Elementary Theme

Wisdomland

This month’s theme—“Wisdomland: God can help you make the wise choice”—is inspired by all the ups and downs of a theme park roller coaster. The kings of Israel and Judah brought the nation to its pinnacle when they wisely chose to worship and honor God. And they led the nation down some stomach-dropping dips and ultimate derailment through their foolish decisions. Kids will discover that even though they may not be leading a nation, their choices matter deeply in their lives and the lives of the people around them.

Tithe and Offerings

Here at The Living Well Church, the Living Well Kids have their own Joy-Box. The box is where they put their tithes and offerings as a tool to practice financial stewardship. The money is given to a variety of beneficiaries throughout the year.

Our youth ministry (3D: Dedicated Driven Disciples) will choose the next beneficiary to be gifted during Advent.

Prayer at The Living Well

PRAYER MATTERS! We meet every Sunday at 9am to pray for the Holy Spirit’s work in our gathering and for our community’s needs. If you have a prayer request, please fill out the virtual Connection Card below today!
